This is a short poem by Imogen who's only 12, and it ain't half bad at all. You can see Imogen's website at: www.azaileas.tk

Inside your head it's cloudy,
But the sun still shines around you,
Rain falls from your eyes,
But still the skies are clear and blue.

They close in around you,
Catch you in their cage,
Hunt you like an animal,
No reason for their rage.

Time is running out,
The walls are closing in,
You're losing the battle,
They are going to win.

But still the sun rises,
Hope is still there,
The night is pushed back,
And the sun shines everywhere.

So battle for the moment,
Hang on to the sun,
Don't let the darkness win,
And you'll be the one who's one.
